because president obama did such a good job on the auto bailout. the first thing that romney says is well, wait, obama just did what i suggested and let them go into bankruptcy. lie. that's the first lie. no, no no, no. there is a big difference. obama gave them $80 billion in federal help. to go into and come out of bankruptcy. everybody has said economists have said steve ratner who was in charge of the auto bailout has said over and over again if romney's plan had gone through federal government did nothing and they were just left up to the private sector, no bank was going to lend them any money. they were in such bad shape. they would have gone under and never gone out and they would have been gone. america's auto industry would be gone. instead, it's back. a million and a half jobs they figure still for g.m. and chrysler as a result of the auto bailout. jobs brought back. and new jobs. so the first lie didn't work. now romney's out with a second lie which is that having come back, g.m. and chrysler are now going to shut down their plants in ohio and move them to china. now n

aisle, i think president obama would do a better job of that. mitt romney has touted his gubernatorial experience. if we really dig deep, i think we will uncover his record which clearly indicates that he did not have great favorability when he left. it was below 40%. there were countless the toes issued by him. i also believe that in my research i think the state of massachusetts ranked 48th for jobs being lost which is a fundamental issue that we are trying to resolve right now. so i believe that the sincerity to be able to partner together would be more so by president obama even with his jobs bill out there in congress that we do not hear about too much. i think that could have put this nation further ahead even looking at corporations holding funds where employees could be working right now. i do not know if it is for the ownership of these corporations to determine -- host: thank you for your comment this morning. gov. christie also spoke yesterday from new jersey. >> the challenge now is to get back to normalcy. we need to be sure to get power restored as quickly as possible. ho

the campaign resumed its rhetoric. romney did not mention obama by name. lots of advocacy for the romney agenda conto million jobs. more energy production. education, cracking down on chinese trade in championing small businesses. there is no question about it. the romney campaign held a teleconference today with reports to say that they are just where they had always hoped it would be in the closing days of this campaign. in a statistical tie knocking on the door and able to win. they still can win but is not at all by any means a certainty. a scare tactic when republicans that they think their vote doesn't matter they could be wrong in the need to get to the polls. with that said, some concern in the polls for the campaign. then seen in the seven surveys in the last two days, of ohio that shows that it's still a margin race within the margin of error, but mr. obama is with a slight lead with and that margin so the romney campaign has begun looking at expanding the battlefield where the playing field to make you will, by going after states like minnesota and michigan and pennsylv
